Courtyard Show@UWA Law Courtyard / 7:00pm / 30 October 2015
Courtyard Show is considered a legacy amongst law students and alumni. Having been run since before our lecturers can remember, and hosted in the Law Courtyard, it is infamous for fountain dancing, $3 drinks, and a raging dance floor.
The event is hosted on the first and last Fridays of the university year, and is the perfect opportunity to let off a little steam with your law school friends. At the beginning of the year CYS it is the perfect low cost way to catch up with friends after summer. At the end of year CYS, it is the only way to commiserate the beginning of exams. Either way – it is not an event to miss!
Due to the popularity of CYS, it generally sells out within the day. Be the lucky one to get tickets for you and your friends!
JD Valley Tour@Swan Valley / 11:00am /
The Valley Tour is an event run in the first university semester. A bus takes students around Swan Valley’s best wineries and breweries. It is the perfect mixer opportunity for all students, whether you are a well-seasoned LLB, a second or third year JD, or the newbies to the Law School. All students are welcome at the Valley Tour, and we encourage law students, both LLB and JD, to attend.
Break the ice in the lush Swan Valley surrounds – there’s no better way to do it! Legal banter is a must, and no legal banter is great banter without a couple of glasses of wine! This is a great way to meet people from other years, sample some goodies the Swan Valley has to offer, and relax knowing that everything has been taken care of. All you have to decide is which Wine you like the best!
